ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA - The Orange County Coalition of Police and Sheriffs (O.C. Cops) announced today that they are unanimously endorsing the Sukhee Kang for Congress campaign in Orange County’s new 45th Congressional District.
The Orange County Coalition of Police and Sheriffs (O.C. Cops) was formed in July 2002, by several key law enforcement associations in Orange County. Their goal was to create the premiere coalition of law enforcement agencies/associations in Orange County to speak with a clear, decisive, and definitive voice for public safety, law enforcement, the profession and rank-and-file who protect and serve the public.
Congressional candidate Sukhee Kang released a statement, “I am extremely honored and humbled by the unanimous support of Orange County Coalition of Police and Sheriffs in my quest for Congress. I will proudly carry the mission of genuinely representing men and women in public safety who safeguard our community day in and day out.”
As Mayor, Sukhee Kang was able to balance the budget without raising taxes or cutting the Irvine police force, which allowed the city to be named the Safest Big City in America by Congressional Quarterly.
Sukhee Kang is running for Congress in the June 5th primary election for Orange County’s new 45th Congressional District including Irvine, Tustin, Santa Ana, Orange, Villa Park, Anaheim Hills, Laguna Woods, Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita and Coto de Caza.
